A growing gap
Ask most people what they wish they'd learned in high school, and personal finance makes the list. For most, it's learned one of two ways: from parents, or through trial by fire.
Even for the studious, the space is crowded with bad information and short on credible, engaging resources. That gap is why I founded StockMotion.
Gamified learning
StockMotion sends users through curricula covering retirement planning, investing basics, and personal finance — bite-sized lessons, goal setting, progress tracking, and knowledge checks along the way.
Employers can offer it to their teams for free, running company-wide tournaments where employees compete on mini-games, tests, and curriculum progress for prizes.

I've taken StockMotion from an idea in late 2017 through two complete rebuilds, leading a team across marketing, design, and engineering, while personally owning the backend architecture and infrastructure.
I also ran research and interviews with early adopters and potential users throughout the UX design process, shaping the curriculum and product direction directly from user feedback.
